The Vikings have arrived, last weekend was the Vikingit-Hawks exchange tournament, our PeeWee team finished third losing to both the Hawks and Vikings in close games.

I will try to get some pictures from our parents in the next few days.

Below are some links discussing this year's event.

hawks - vikings

Postby Mrtikka » Thu Mar 31, 2011 7:09 pm

Hi!

I find it great that this exchange program is still working!
I played in vikings and visited USA and oh boy what a trip it was! I visited US for the first time and got to play hockey. One of the best part was that we lived in families and all of our language skills got better. The tournament went okay, we won gold (I played in A team). Also we got to practice with Hawks. We visited king of prussia mall, we checked out NHL practice (a friend of mine got a goalie stick from the one of the AHL team goalies), NHL game, AHL game, it was raining so we did not see a baseball game. There was an amazing tour at the stadion though. I never forget the room which was full of baseballs cut in half. We also ran the rocky stairs etc... It was a great trip! I'm still in touch with the persons who I met during our visit.

Excuse me about my poor english, Im slightly tired right now.

Here is a video from our trip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDoELINi1UM

Edit: Our slogan was "Viking has landed"
